The cluster was too bulky so I figure a Sigma BC800 speedo and mini tach topped off with a custom light panel.

05 CBR1000RR front fender and a CBR60 front mounted radiator.

Consider the Topeak brand bicycle computer for your project. I'm about to order one up for a streetfighter cbr project I have in the garage right now. Just steer towards the wired version, have heard the wireless has interference issues.
