My 1998 SuperHawk pics and progress...

I figured it was time for me to get some pics of the bike up as I keep doing stuff to it and want to keep the pics rolling on this thread. Please feel free to leave me your feedback, good or bad, I can take it. I mean I like the bike, so thats all that matters Anyway, Bike is a 98, red, 17k miles, with two brother high mounts, HID headlight, 15 tooth front sprocket, stage 1 jet kit, and integrated smoke taillight.

It looks good can't wait to see more mod on the SH. Have a question for you I am waiting for my two brother exhausts that is on back order, I wanted to get the high mounts pipes but the two brother rep told me the rear foot pegs have to be removed? Your rear foot pegs are still there. Are those special pipes for high mount?

They don't come with tbr's but others like jardine, leo, devil, etc come with spacers and longer bolts to move the pegs outward so they'll clear the cans. I'm sure any of those would also work with these.

Looks nice, more polished than mine. I hate cleaning. It may just be the angle in the photo, but your right can looks a little low (or the left is high ).

Ha, same here. Iv always loved the Sharkskinz lower, the A-Tech is also nice but i think its a bit harder to get ahold of. I looked at some pics and it seems mine is just like yours only it is smooth in the area where yours has the little fins... The previous owner had told me it was an OEM addon peice but im not so sure about that since iv never seen another Hawk with it.

As far as removing the stockers from the front I wouldn't.. Between those and the Rear pegs that is what saved my bike when it went down. Bought a new right side directional, Mirror, and polished out the peg and you would never know she's been down. Looks good...

You talking about stock turn signals?? I also dont plan on laying it down anytime soon. Probably if it goes down it will be totalled, lol

Hell I didn't plan on laying mine down either... Just happens sometimes.. Either someone not watching cuts you off or something to that nature. Or you just have an accident. My bike would have been totalled if not for the stockers Dirctionals that is and the rear pegs.. But that's Just my two cents worth.

frame sliders are pretty cheap. 50 bucks can save you hundreds.

I really like what you did, can you provide me the list what exactly you get from hardware store and how to modified?

I have exactly same T-bros hangers and have stock rear pegs as well.

Thanks

Tak
