The DrrtyHawk....

I finally got a digital camera and snapped a couple of pics of my bike. It's looking a little ugly because I had an unplanned get-off in August. Not too bad damage-wise, but the peg-bracket I ordered from Honda took its sweet time to get here (about 6 weeks). I've got my Sharkskinz street upper ordered, and should have it painted and installed in the next 3 weeks. Already replaced the radiator, peg bracket, exhaust, and fairing mounting clips. All I need now is an upper fairing stay, and the new upper, and we're back in business. As it sits, I can at least ride it now.

Re: The DrrtyHawk....

I just got my bike back together from my unplanned get-off in September, so I can feel your pain. I finally got to ride last weekend and the grin factor was huge. I too had to replace the radiator, other side though. I did a west coast salvage yard search and came up empty, but found one at a place called Steve's Cycle Salvage in Georgia. Seems like they have a huge yard. I'm living with the cosmetic stuff and was able to epoxy the cracks in the fairing the the Devcon mixutre mentioned here. I did replace my brake gear with red Galfer steel lines and EBC pads while I had the front end apart. Good stuff.

Enjoy your first ride!

Sorry about that...I need that panel temporarily, though, while I'm waiting on my Sharkskinz upper...once it gets here, I'll be selling all of my factory bodywork....
