Hey guys been busy and haven't posted much since my accident a couple of years ago. I thought I would post up the hawk since the accident I have been slowly crafting it purposefully to look beat, but mechanically perfect. Gets lots of comments, I am planning on building some rusty steel engine guards to continue with the look. Like or hate it doesn't matter it fits me.

Andrew, glad you're back. I love the look. I'm planning new skins for my hawk. Haven't determined what to do for the paint.

 

I had it flat black for a while but it looked like I tried to hard. Actually with some of the old paint showing through it fits the character of my hawk better. Plus we all need one bike that hauls *** is a blast to ride and you can't tell when another scratch is added

No doubt... You ride a bike that you're not afraid to scratch like it was a bike that you're not afraid to scratch lol. I like it too. Reminds me of an old leather jacket that's been more then "broken in" and is at that stage where American Pickers would pay hundreds of dollars for it based on its appearance. That look that can only be gotten through years of purposeful use, yet perfectly maintained enough to not look like a POS. Good job...
