As some of you may know, I dable with the dark side. I also frequently ride my '05 Honda Ruckus scooter in the summer time around Denver. Well, I got my Fiance an '06 Honda Metropolitan scooter the other day! I'm excited we can go for local scoots around town together now...... maybe in the future she will be comfortable enough on to wheels to go for a full size bike of some sort!

I've been thinking of picking one up for the wife. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back?

 

dealership consignment asking 1500 cash. I talked them down to 1k even. 'o6 528 miles on it, mint. original tag was 1900. great deal.

 

everything I own was a good deal. I'm frugal to the core.

 

I always have liked the ruckus, if I had a scooter that would be the one.

 

you might be frugal but i'm a plain old cheap skate!

i love the ruckus. last year it was my fav bike in the honda booth at the moto show. crazy i know, liking it more than the dn-01 and fury! baaahaaa

back to the ruckus, i went over and sat on it. bottomed out the suspension!!! i'm 6'2" 260lbs

 

Ya, There is alot of after market support for it. including better suspension. but if you weight 260, you are just pissing into the wind when it comes to scooters.
