'99 yellow loner
Meet Bumblebee.
I bought it, I love it, I'll take care of it, mechanically at first.
Looks don't come second, but with my salary it's best to make it run smooth and not break down and then make it more beautiful.
The things I've done, apart from carb sync and cleaning, new place for rear turn signals (I haven't seen someone else put them in there), new Michelin Pilot Powers, mirrors, a good wash to reveal scratches and stuff (it was pretty dirty), changed oil and plugs and went for a ride to hear the fabulous Remus Revolution mufflers.
God I love this bike.
Pro Question: which of the two different yellow variation is the original? The rear fender and the small fairing are more bright than the rest of the bike.
Still needs a good new paintjob.
Oh, it has almost 80k (kilometres) on it and still when I give it a twist I'm like . Did I say I love this bike?

Looks to me like your chin and hugger are a lighter yellow than the Honda Shining Pearl Yellow available in '99 & '00 in the US.
A bit more info on the fastest color here: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...erhawks-30681/
I don't know if the Superhawk/Firestorm colors were common worldwide, but the rest of your bodywork looks like the same yellow as my '99.

yup, that was my original thought too. That's actually good, because my intention is to repaint the bike all to the original, maybe with a pearl finish, dunno. I don't want it to look completely like a taxi (in Greece they're sun bright yellow)

Just my 2c, I'm a critical ****....pull that hugger off (or paint it black), along with the monster energy sticker. What do you have on there that's hyperpro? Those frame sliders, I've never seen them before, wonder how they mount?

Yeah that monster sticker has to go, my only concern is that it might be hiding some huge scratch which will make things even worse...
Thanks for your constructive criticism :P but I like that hugger, black would come only if I decide to paint the frame black as well (I've seen it done in here, looks awesome)
Hyperpro front springs. At least that's what the previous owner told me, for all I know it could be just another sticker
As for the sliders, I have no idea how they mount, I'll try removing them the days to come.
The bike has a lot to be done, I currently lack the economic motivation to start building it, hehe
I see you've installed stage 1 kit, any difference in power/fuel consumption?
