2004 Superhawk Streetfighter

Hey there guys, just picked up my 2nd Hawk, found this site a while back and have been using it as a guide, and it rocks!

This is the way she sits, pretty much the way I got it a week ago. It was totaled w/ less than 100 miles on it back in 2006, rebuilt in 2007, and I got it from the guy who rebuilt it. He said there are less than 1000 total miles on it, and I believe him. It had bent forks that he replaced with 2001 forks, and he replaced the front wheel and added the EBC rotors as well. And, powdercoated frame, swingarm subframe, and rearsets.

Bike has no gauges currently, I plan to add a Vapor computer like I did on my last CBR fighter bike. Also, bar end mirrors. I will also probably add a dual round light setup, but want to wait till I do the fork swap for that. Probably going to run the 1000RR setup, we'll see though.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions to make this one sick beast?

-Kurt

The can looks like has seen better days, I would send your pipes to Jet Hot to get porcelain coated.

I like the blacked out frame. It looks like you've got a great base for a street fighter project. I'd definitely add a front fender and ditch that headlight.... way too "dirt bike"

Yup, on the list - the headlight is DR350, not a fan of it! And the header is Jet Hot coated, but I am going to hit the whole pipe up with black, but plan on running dual pipes on it like my old 'Hawk (shortened 2Bros pipes).

Once I tear into this one I will post pics of the progress!
