Hello smokinjoe. I was wondering if I could ask a few question about superhawks in general?

Hey, was looking at some old suspension threads and came across a comment you wrote:
Here is the EXTREME budget way to do it. (racer between races style). Open the fork tops one at a time and add a couple ounces of 30wt fork oil to each, this will help it dampen more through the stroke.

Then cut 15mm spacers out of pvc pipe, cut them in half and use them to add preload. back off the adjusters all the way to install.

My question is what diameter pvc pipe do I need to buy?

Can you send me the link of the video of the gauges again. For right now I just want something that will get me back on the bike and trying out different options with handle bars and such. If your gauge will work speedo wise, fuel gauge, tach (a little) and dash lights they will be perfect for the little bit of the season I have left in the north east. Let me know thanks. If you could email me I didn't see your message for some time. email is panthersfan5526@yahoo.com. Thanks Nick

Joe in my searching I saw you had a post last year about a koso knock off gauge. I'm doing a street fighter build as looking for a gauge options. If you liked or disliked let me know because I liked the way it looked in your video and certainly
    Liked the price

    Hey Joe,

Thanks for the suggestion on the rebuilding carbs thread but I do have a question. First, I'm no where near any type of mechanic but I do like to try something before throwing my hands up. I'm a little lost as to what shaking an empty tank will do. I already drained it and threw about a half gallon of gas in and drained it out the petcock hole to flush out any crap that might be in there. Filled with fresh gas and threw a little bit on the carbs before trying to fire it up. Same deal, turned over but didn't fire up. Same effect as to what you were suggesting? Thanks for all your help, I'm new at this but trying to learn.
