About the shift lever: I would like to eliminate the annoying play in the shift linkage of my VTR that is caused by the original parts, ie the shift lever, the shift linkage, the two bal bearings.

    1. In which way your lever is different in comparison to the original? From what I can see from the photo of the 2005 shift lever from the forum, it has the same bushing (probbably the same play) as the original lever. Is tthat correct or I am wrong?

    3. Instead of the bushing I would prefer as a solution with two small clearance-free ball bearings to fix the lever to the footrest carrier. Is that possible?

    4. I have boots with size EU 43 = US 10. So according to my toe-location I can do with original measures or slightly longer. From the picture I can so 2 different holes for the shiftpin. Is it adjustable?

    5. What is the price for the complete shiftlever with one male-ball bearing and rubber cover?

    Thank you in advance

Hi Jamie. I'll know by Saturday if the bike pans out! If it does(and you still have at least one) I'll take it!
    Thanks!-John

Hi Jamie...I got a shift lever from you for my VTR1000 some time ago. I now have a different VTR and I'm thinking of another one of your shift lever kits. I am now in the UK...what would be the cost, including shipping to the UK? No rush for the part....Cheers

Ok, so I'm here in Afghanistan thinking motorcycles. We talked about working my forks a while back. They are the gold/bronze legged ones from the 2004 model. I resprung them a couple years back. My son has agreed to do the wrench work. What do I need to have done to compliment the rear shock that you did for me a year or so ago. Tim Schwab/usaabn

Hey Jamie, I was told my PO might have ordered a shift lever from you for my 98 superhawk. The shift peg has fallen off as it was bolted on and was wondering if you know where I can order a new peg to put on. Any info you might have would be very helpful.

    Thank you.

Hey Jamie, sent you an email but was wondering how much you charge to put a goldvalve in a vtr fork. (I have the s2040 valve) also my springs are 95's which are too stiff so maybe I could swap to a 90? Thanks. Joe

Hi I am new to the superhawk and I really like the bike but I am not quite tall enough to touch flat footed ( or even half footed) and I was looking to lower it but I was told to contact you for the best advice
