I have not seen any posts in a while...You doing good. I had a get off at VIR a couple of months ago. Repairing the ole' girl and about ready to get her back on the road. Then while removing some adhesive with 3M adhesive remover...I managed to destroy the headlight lens. I've used the 3M remover several times on this very lens. For what ever reason this time it reacts with the plastic and basically etched the surface.

Hey man! I just figured this conversation thing out! Sometimes it takes me a while. Anyway, no, I did not draw the picture. It's by Alan Aldridge, an English artist from the 60's & 70's. My VTR is now in the basement, I'm just de-paired it and put on the block-off plares. I'm looking at the TPS adjustment, trimming the flywheel, sending the forks and a F4I shock to J. Daugherty for upgrade, and then doing the head and taillight conversions. But it's winter here so I can't ride anyway. Have a great Thanksgiving!! Wolf

    Hey Gunny,

I haven't seen any new post lately....You doing ok! I spent a weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park couple of weeks ago. Had a blast and learned a bunch and flat killed a set of pirelli's. Nothing better than passing faster bikes on the Hawk...

Yeah, got some sharkskinz after my wreck. Gonna paint the front white with a black #plate and the back black wit a white # plate with red pistriping. Figured the same red as the tank will b expensive for a track bike

Thanks Gunny. It's a quantum leap from a 1977 XS650. It's the first bike that I had to actually remind myself to hold on at WOT. Nice family! Wolf

Thanks for the kind words your bike looks sweet too! Looking at your pics makes me want a tank bra also, it looks really good and quite functional I'm guessing.
