R&L racing radiators

So I bought a new set of replacement radiators and the Bing on the new ones for the fan temp sensor is too small for the factory temp sensor. Has anyone had this issue or any suggestions on what I can do to use the new radiators? Name: 20160511_143405_zps34jt7bgi.jpg

Another question could I wire my fan to a switch? Is the temp sensor just a ground switch? Could I just take the wire that goes to the temp sensor and ground it through a switch?
