lower fairings

lower fairings
who is selling lower fairings, and do you folks normally run them, or just leave 'em off for easy access for oil service ? My bike has a Jardine exhaust,that has melted the lower somewhat on the bottom. I may just leave it off... ? I need to get this bike streetable ASAP...thanx for any input !

The stock lower has no real function other than astetical... Not needed for being "streetable"... But it looks nice...

Is there anywhere on Gods creation to get either aftermarket or stock fairings for the VTR1000 in the USA? Other than paying close to 1000-2000 for a complete new set?
