Factory Fairing Part#

Quickly, before I spend my tax return (again) I need to get a factory LH fairing to replace the ugly patched one I've been riding with for the past few years. The site I looked it up before doesn't list the part number anymore. I suspect that means it is discontinued.

What is the part # for a red LH fairing?

you can also go to motosport.com and search the OEM parts listing and order the fairing already painted straight from there.

Weird, both ,my OEM parts places no longer show the left or right side part on line..

But as I have a new one sitting here in a HONDA box so I have the PN..
Part Our Price Qty
COWL, L. FR. (TYPE5)
64240-MBB-671ZC $314.89

Running the part number on line shows it is still available.. SO call your supplier and ask.

Looking at replacement left side fairing after slow speed low side. After an expensive and unimpressive color-rite painting exercise in futility, I'm looking at factory parts. For 2002 SH there are multiple Part/Type#s for the left fairing. Ron Ayers part #s 64240-MBB-A20ZA Type 5, 64240-MBB-A40ZA Type 6, 64240-MBB-A50ZA Type 1, 64240-MBB-A60ZA Type 1. Anyone know what the different #s represent? Color, perhaps? Couldn't find anything in the forum or at Ron Ayers. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Type 5 is what I'll need. Now to convince the missus that I need to spend the $300 to buy the part!

Shoulda just bit the bullet and bought the new fairing panel in the first place ...
