Im in Palm Beach Gardens now. My Hawk is still under construction for now but I'm hoping to ride within 4-5 months. For now I'm "roughing it" on my custom hard tail SFC Chopper. Its definatly a v-twin and loud as all get out, Brad.

 

I am in bad need of a chain... BAD need, no I ain't riding anywhere at the moment until that's fixed.

sounds good to me,im usually alone riding.let me know when you got it fixed.i gotta do some little repairs on mine but nothing major,i might be buing new chain and sprockets this week myself.

 

Cool... Cyclegear on 19 is good for parts sometimes. Definitely have good deals on tires.

 

yea,i get some things there sometimes,it depends,the oil is to much there tho,i wont get that there,cheaper in auto store.if you go to the mcdonalds next to cyclegear,theres a motorcycle place right behind it,they have never failed me,the majority of the times,they give me prices that are as good as ebay and sometimes better.they are great guys there.you should check them out.have you done the R/R swap.

 

Yeah, I threw an R/R from a YZF6 on there last year... got it off of ebay for $25 bucks. The place behind McDonalds is a repair shop, or parts sales?

 

they do repairs,but they have parts,new,used,broken,they got oem parts for all kind of bikes,if they can order it,they will,at times,ebay is still a winner sometimes,but they good.the young guy is good to cut prices down a bit,but overall,they are good,been going there for years,they always had a answer for me.im getting some stuff thru them here soon,but im gonna get chain from ebay,guy in miami has good price for some hawk chains.

Think I saw a yellow hawk on Clark Rd today here in Sarasota. By the time I saw it, I only got a quick look.. was too busy looking at the viper on the other side. anyone on here?

 

i think it is,i have to check my ebay,i saved it,i might order it today,gotta look for deals on sprockets,trying to fnd the good stuff for under 150.00 all together.but that sounds right,its the only one i sw in ebay for florida.

and i think they the rk rivet chains.most peps like those,i hear there pretty good.

 

i remember seeing a blue hawk for sale in sarasota craigslist.and i thin a black one in lakeland,hmmmmm could be other way around.

 

looking for any riders in florida,im in pinellas county,any one near by.

Brooksville area here. I have been doing alot of weekend scuba diving lately. Riding the hawk mainly for an hour or so in the evenings after work.
