Plan my Ride (and ride along ;-)
I've got a high school reunion to go to. It's in Front Royal, VA. I'm in Dayton, TN. I don't want to slab, but I don't want an endless 30 - 45 mph speed trap either. And I need to do it in a day - August 1, and be in Front Royal by 5 pm. I can leave anytime in the morning, dark is fine.
Anybody along the way have any ideas?

OK, the Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive ends in Front Royal where I need to be...
... and it looks like I could pick it up in Roanoke off 460 to top off the trip, but does any one have an alternate to slabbing 40/81 to get there?
