Meet for breakfast at the Golden Corral in Frederick MD on route 355 south of route 70 at 5621 Spectrum Drive, Frederick, MD 21703-8301

8:30 am breakfast route sheets will be handed out for a 140 mile self-guided ride that will end at restaurant somewhere in Pa. The ride will take you on some of the FINEST Motorcycle riding roads in the area. Come out and show your support for Sport Touring at its finest. You will ride in Maryland and Pennsylvania. After the fall 2014 ride people ask me to do the spring ride throw the fruit orchard of MD & PA and if the weather is good we should be riding in the peak of the blooms.

Been riding Russells rides for years. No fee's, just meet for breakfast and ride with your group or try to find someone to tag along w/. I have the rides loaded on my nav and can share the files.

 

How many bikes do you have lined up so far?

 

Me? zero. My bud w/ the black Hawk has to work and no one here replied so I didn't make plans. I tried to ride to work this a.m. and was surprised with an almost dead battery (it wouldn't start). I'll have to see where I stand later.
Russell usually has between 20-30 bikes show. Guys are in groups of friends and ride together, usually 3-5 deep.

The ride will take you on some of the FINEST Motorcycle riding roads in the area. Come out and show your support for Sport Touring at it’s finest. You will ride in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

 

Sounds like a good ride. Now, if I only could get some of you to adopt me so I can become a US citizen and ride these nice roads. Hmmmmmm anyone ?

 

 

I'm trying to rally some troops to come out with me. I haven't made it out yet for any group rides but it looks like I'm coming out for this one. Will be a 260 mile total ride for me. OUCH! Oh well. Nothing a little alky won't fix when I get home.
Anyone from the northeastern MD area or southeastern PA area want to ride out to the meeting spot with me?

Awesome route! I've always wanted to ride out that way on the bike. Count me in! Just have to clean it up a bit to be presentable. It's a mess right now. See ya there
