NH SEASON KICK-OFF
Nice track bike FTMS!!! I am green with envy. I would love to do some track days but between getting some leathers and lieing to my wife about spending $200 on a track day and then continuing the lies by going on more track days I think I would end up divorced by the end of the riding season. Someday though, someday. I'm headed to VA next winter. Hmm. Something tells me VIR might be on the wish list for the Buell.
Come on smack you need to get that thing on the track!! Besides they make new wives every day
.
VIR sounds good to me. I think I will hit that track next spring with a group that goes down in March. This track day sh*t is soooo addicting!!!
How are you liking the Buel?

FTMS - I've never thought of it like that but they do make new wives every day......hmm.......anyway,
I'll tag along with you guys once it warms up. Since I've got the Buell I've only put about 600 miles on it but that'll be changing by this weekend. Notes so Far, the Buell likes to turn and feels soooo light. Pretty fun to ring it's neck. Lots of character too. Doesn't have the power like the super hawk though. I'm liking it. Looking forward to the ride though.

ooh ooh, i wanna play! my folks are in Hooksett and i'm living around Acton, MA at this point. i'de love to meet up with some new people considering my riding buddies all moved away and the only person i have to keep me company on cruises is my dad.
There are some great rides up through Deerfield, Northwood, etc. I've already had my bike out a few times...she's all clean and ready to put on some miles.

Gentlemen, am a new SH owner living in Lunenburg, MA (20 mis. west of Acton). Rode alot in my 20's (right after our Lord died on the cross). Doing a refresher @ the W. Boylston bike school on the weekend of 4/3, then will be looking to ride. Keep me in mind and see my thread on the general discussion forum about putting a meeting place ride together for NE/ NY SH riders.
i still dont have a bike
and no one to buy my jeep
I might just trade the jeep for a drz400sm... just that i dont think it would handle long rides even if i get a bigger capacity tank. shoot me haha.

well i am that close to getting a suzuki drz400sm. just have to call the owner and arrange meet up. also will probably buy my dad a stock header for the hawk so we can run orignal exhaust setup again. and on top of the drz i might see if i can pickup another hawk!
In an effort to save money, my company put me on a 3 week unpaid vacation starting April 1. If anyone wants to get together for a ride I'll be available, especially on weekdays. I'm between Concord and Portsmouth and I'm dying to ride after this long winter. Willing to travel for unsanded twisties (not that they exist right now).

Anybody? I`m thinking southern or middle Vt. but I`m open to sugestions. I`m free Fri thru Mon,I have alot of free time lately(got laid off a couple of weeks ago). Weather is looking real good all weekend!
I am new to the forum. I wish I could join you guys, but I have a new weekend job. I will try to get to the bike Monday but I need to check it over and get it inspected.
Let me know the next time you go for a ride.

I was going to try a route I like from Westfield to Bennington Vt possibly on Saturday. If that would work we can do it. I may have an obligation Sat though and won't be able to confirm until Fri evening. I start from Ct and do a loop so I could hook up anywhere really. I wouldn't mind finding some more riding in that area.
OK Sunday it is. We`re heading west, probably on rt.119 to s.vt. Departure time has yet to be determened. It`s about a 2 hr. ride from my house to Brattleboro,so if any of you guys from w.ma, ct. or ny want to, we could meet someplace between Brattleboro and Bennington.
