I just got my bike down here, and am looking for a few good roads to ride around on. I know this isn't as prime riding area as back home was in WV, but there has got to be some good places to go, no? What about a track? I'm about 2.5 hours from Raleigh. Anyone within the 3 hr area want to meet up sometime? You'll have to pardon my inline 4 ZX-10, but I promise, I have a superchicken back home! This is the only forum I haven't put faces to the names of people on here, would like to go out and log on some miles with some SuperHawk guys.

 

You're a brave soul riding in Jacksonville. I was at New River for an enlistment. I can honestly say that is one place I would never EVER ride a motorcycle. Too many ******* drivers.

 

Come west where there are corners and elevation changes. Whip out a map and look at; 18, 181, 226, 226A, 129 and the Blue Ridge Parkway and various other beautiful scenic roads that belong to this State.
