Hey everybody its been a while since ive been on here, but Im entering in a connonball run just for bikes actually called GREAT ROCKET RUN. It starts May 1st in Myrtle beach and goes through ATLANTA, MEMPHIS, OKLAHOMA CITY, ALBURQURQUE, PHONIX, VEGAS, and finishes at LOS ANGELES. I was wondering if everybody could give me a update on road construction in youre state around April 28th. Hopefully the SH is up to the challenge. Im gonna put it in the shop and have the motor checked out real good. I cant wait to get to NEW MEXICO, and ARIZONA and see the scenery out there. Thanks everybody.

 

Also I read somewhere before but cant find it again, I bought the cush drive rubbers for the rear hub and need to know if I need to lightly grease them. Thanks again.

 

I think spraying them with silicone is the preferred treatment. Clean out the inards real good, dry well, spray - happy trails.

Yea I think im going to add a tank on the back seat lol. I got on the google map and routed the whole trip with gas stops and figured Ill be stoping about 25 times.

 

Atlanta to LA in 25 stops? What? You'r going to idle all the way?
