Well as we were leaving Dougs house, my buddy on the Kawi decides to take the turn with a bit of back brake in it. Needless to say the rear slipped out from under him and the bike wend skidding into the guard rail lodging itself in there pretty good. He is fine, I will post some pictures in a minute

A special thanks to Doug for the use of his trailer and his dearly departed Exploder... oops Explorer...
I would also like to point out that even though Doug did not go down, he sustained the worst injury of the day.
Brandon is staying under the radar as far as military goes, so he should be fine in that aspect.

Doug is in the first batch 3rd and 4th pictures. I failed to get any pictures of what his arm looked like, but it wasn't too exciting looking. You could see a difference in the two arms, and a slightly "wrinkled" spot where it looks like the muscle used to be. I just got done talking with him earlier, and he says he is going for an MRI and what not... so we will have to see how his bum arm is holding up.

I talked to KD about 1600 and he said he had met with the OS (same guy that recently did his knee) and the Doc had little good to say. The bicep will have to be knitted and the tendon screwed to the bone. Because the man's biceps are the size of my thighs this surgery is going to majorly invasive.
He goes for the MRI tomorrow to confirm all the ugly details and surgery is scheduled for Wednesday morning. The Doc also advised that the surgery is going to be lengthy and the KD will not like him when it's done. Whatever in the fk that means but it doesn't sound good.

Oh, ****! I was in hopes we could find one sooner, paint it pink with a roller, paint the sidewalls white and cut the top off it so he could still wear his helmet to drive to work.
I mean, you got to keep the boy in humor!

Damn, guys! Sorry to hear about the crash & rash - hope everyone is gonna be ok. On Saturday, I had a riding buddy lose the front end right in front of me at about 60 mph on a SoCal VFRD ride I was on. Guy rashed his bike but is ok.
So KD hurt his arm?? What happened??

He was trying to lift Moonster's Ninja out of the guardrail and tore his bicep away from the bone just above his elbow.
KD has his *** to the camera in this shot. You can see the lift. Inside out - palm up.

Everyone was okay from the minute we saw Brandon jump back up after doing the infamous tuck-n-roll. Was reasonably low speed, but still fast enough to do all this obviously. Some wear on his gloves, the rocket in JoeRocket on his jacket lost a bit of color, and his helmet got a small rash the size of a dime or so, and not very deeply either.
His knee is swollen, but just fine... he is at work with me as I "speak".
He was actually laughing about the bike about 10 mins after the adrenalin wore off... its the second time this bike has been down, and the first time it was his fault LOL.
Sorry about your buddy as well... this all just sucks. Like I said
WORST-SUNDAY-EVER!!
