Would This Work?: Black&Decker jump starter?
Would This Work?: Black&Decker jump starter?
so i figure, the battery inside the thing is 9Ah, our bikes run 12 Ah normally, could this thing be set to plain "battery" mode (NOT jump start mode which gives out a whole **** load of amps) and be used to give a bike a start?
just curious is all...be pretty handy if it could

specs:
Output - 12V DC, 300 Amps instant, 5 seconds, 225 Amps
Battery - 12V, 9 Amp hr, sealed lead-acid
Cables & Clamps - #5 AWG welding, heavy-duty copper
Accessory Outlet - 5 Amps, self-resetting breaker

yeah you should have no problem jumping your bike with that. I did it on my Hawk a few times before i got smart and installed battery tender leads and i would just plug it in when i knew it was going to sit for a few days.
