I would love to ride out there, but I will more than likely fly... If my buddy would take the ride I would do it, but it's too far for me to do by myself from FLA.

I live about 1.5-2 hours north of Indy so you know I'll be there. Probably won't ride though as I'll likely be going with a group.

my brother and i are going, live about 50 minutes from track. found it cheaper to buy the 3 day pass for 75 bucks. general admission ticket can sit in any open seat. beats the hell out of the real ticket price

My best friend and I are planning a cross country trip in September. I guess we'll try to plan around this. We'll probably either chicken out or not have enough money to make it to the left coast but I'm sure we can make it to the race from VA.

Oh yeah. I went to reserve rooms two weeks ago. They're getting hard to find. Plenty left by the airport. So, if you haven't got 'em yet, better start looking. As of Christmas, they say there have already been more tickets sold for this than for the inaguaral F1 race. They say it's gonna be HUGE.

I'm on the Southwest side between the GM truck assembly plant and the airport. I live right at one of the exits on I-69, if anyone needs a place to stay (if coming from the north) let me know and we might be able to work something out.

I will be there. Got tickets and a campground spot. I don't want to have to fight the traffic to get in and out. Will either be renting or buying a RV just for this.

I haven't been to Indy since the 500 in '97.

MotoGP: Help needed.

I've got a group of about 6 guys (give or take) from Wisconsin planning on going to the race. We'll be on bikes and we may take a road trip over the top of Lake Michigan on our way in.

Looking for people interested in joining us and also for any help from local Indy folks regarding camping facilities. We'd prefer to meet a courageous sort who'd let us take up some space in their backyard but obviously are open to finding typcial camping facilities.

We love bikes, and drinking beer but are responsible 30-40 somethings who know how to party without breaking stuff. (most of the time)

Any takers, let me know.

Thanks,
Chilly

Maybe you should contact Sperhawk48 as he said " my brother and i are going, live about 50 minutes from track"

Me and a buddy are all set with tickets, parking and a hotel, and we also are considering going to the flat track race Saturday night at the fair grounds

Any other Chicagoland and WI forum members want to hookup with us?

Also, no further discussion of a coinciding SH rally has been discussed?

Doesn't look there'll be enough for a SH "rally" but I'd be in for a meet and greet. I'm the only one in my group with a s'hawk.

Hey Chily, are you going to be at Road America in June for the ama races? Im going to be coming out there with a group of people from the Twin Cities MN area and camping. Im the only one with a super hawk. I was out there last year and saw a few other superhawks.

Also we are thinking about heading to indy for the motogp, No official plans yet but if we do go we would have room available for bike transport from the MN area.

I live about an hour an half north of Indy with 1.5 acres that you are welcome to camp on. I'm out in the country so bonfires and drinking aren't a big deal. I'm right off I-69, so it would be on your way going south from Michigan. Heck, if you asked nicely I might even let you keep your bikes inside.

Can't believe there won't be enough VTRs for at least a mini-rally, we can tolerate a few non-believers. We can hook up and head to Indy together unless you realy are heading north around the Lake and coming in from the northeast. Where are you staying in Indy? We'll be by the airport. I'm willing to make our room SH Central. What about hitting the flat track race too if weather permits?

There's a cool bar/pizza joint just west of the track called Union Jack's. It has a great location, atmosphere and good food. Lots of racing memorabilia. It would possibly be a good spot for a SuperHawk meet and Greet.

Trying to decide the best way to do the motogp on the cheap riding from Middle TN on the hawk. All I care about is a shower a day and some place dry to sleep, the rest is gravy. Any Suggestions?
