Whats the prevailing price for a spare wheel set?

I was thinking of selling mine (have 4 bikes and so the hawk is track day only these days). Front and rear including rotors. Anyone got any price advice? I was thinking $400 perhaps including UPS shipping but not sure if I'm off in the clouds?

It took me 4ever to find them in decent condition, dealt with a whole lot of flakes selling wheels which were crash damaged and not true.

I think it's a fair price and should sell but I'm not in the market.

It might be fair for a nice set but don't put them on ebay-I sold a mint (and I mean perfect) rear wheel awhile back and only got like $20 for it. Managed to get $100 for the front, also mint. Now I didn't include rotors but sold separately maybe they'll bring $50 for the front and $10 or $20 for the rear...sorry I watch ebay way too much. If you do use ebay don't sell them no reserve like I did the rear wheel. They're not like exhausts where you know you'll get a good price.

Hey, Captain, if you don't want to use a reserve price just have a friend bid on them... not that anyone I know would ever do that... oh, no...

I agree Capt. I think a hundred bucks a wheel is what prevails and calipers are extra. Extra good stuff should command a bit better than that but I doubt more than $150 - this is all plus freight.

Yeah that was my big boner of a sale using ebay. Buy hey it's about what I paid for my freshly powdercoated 900rr rear wheel so whatever...AND I did get a very nice red tank with only a tiny paint chip for $50 and a straight subframe for 99 cents so I guess what goes around comes around. Just hope it went to a good home and not some f#$ing squid... For $20 I would have given it to someone on here...

I stand corrected! No longer avail as just the wheel - gotta buy the whole ****. Spacer, bearings, all the little bits = $590 - RonniesMailOrder.com

This only goes back to my original thoughts. Bearings can't be trusted. They gotta be pulled. If you own a tool good for you if you don't some guys charge $50 an axle to get them out. Rubber is not worth shipping - by the time you hold the bare wheel in your hand it's not worth more than $150 plus shipping.

Be aware that 99 CBR f4's run the exact same wheels as the Superhawk. Check the fiche and the part numbers. There's a shitload more squids out there wrecking cbr's than there are us. I smell a hunt!

You've got my PM. You mark it paid, we both leave positive feedback. What the hell. I'm sure other people do it all the time.
