Ok I recently had my bird stolen. Crying shame bc it was excellent condition with significantly less than 30k on it, ran great. Anyway it was recoverd, but stripped. Still has the frame, full oem exhaust (I loved the stock pipes), and some other stuff. Here's the best pic I could get from the gate being they were closed today. I can go back and/or ask them to send me better pics. But take a look here and tell me if you think it's worth paying the recovery fee and parting out the sticker.

My opinion, no way to know from that pic.
Your going to have to inspect in person.
Were just the plastics stripped?
Or were they ripped off in a crash or after one and bike stunted until it died?
Somewhat common in Huston is to strip the "color" off a stolen bike, then use it to stunt, or just run wild with ...and as need dump it and walk(run, ride on the back ect) away
So the answer is maybe...take a second unbiased and knowable eyes with you to inspect.

And I should have mentioned, ask to buy it back regardless........its will have usable parts, so see what they want for it.
I bought mine back after being totaled and paid only $200 for it.... it had thousands in after market parts.... I took what I wanted off it and have been selling giving away parts for more then a year now, long ago having made back the $200 I spent, not to mention all the parts I transfered to my new VTR
