what are damaged fairings worth?

what are damaged fairings worth?
im looking for a set of fairings to use as track fairings. id prefer to drop the bike with shitty fairings rather than my stuff on. so really all i need is the front. soemthing that isnt broken in half but scratched to hell maybe even a few cracks. how much should i expect to pay?

It really depends on how "shitty" you want them. On ebay for nice side fairings- undamaged/mint go for $150 to $250 depending on the color. Light rash with no cracks/good painters maybe $75-$150. Cracked/broken bad rash somewhere below that $25-$50. A tail-mint around $150. Any damage usually alot less. Damaged tanks are also really cheap. On here I've usually seen some nice folks letting stuff go for less than that. Rollin20z has a cool set of sharkskinz for a nice price shipped. They're easy to repair and you can always get your money back if you ever decide to resell them.

i saw those when they were first posted and i like them alot, but ive spent way too much mneyon the bike right now and on christmas shopping aswell so im done until the new year, but i wouldnt mind some cheap crappy stock fairings if that sharkskinz sells before i come up with the extra cash

I have a set of mint Black in a box .... no scratches etc.

do what i did....the fairings cost me 200, projector HID = free
a few select modifications to the way it mounts, and voila...a head scratcher "is that a ninja? wtf, kawasaki doesnt make bikes that sound like that..."
