What color are your buckets?

I need to replace two buckets (lifters) in one of my heads, I can get some used ones cheap but I don't know if all hawks have the same exact size buckets. Mine are all blue/green, it's kinda aquamarine if I had to get specific. If anyone else knows what color theirs are I would appreciate knowing. Thanks

ok good to know, what color is the paint dot on the inside? I knew that was going to be the first response.

99 silver. I got a free set if you check your other stuck bucket post.

I think it was white but I really can't say for sure.

Years 1998 -> 2005 "Lifter, Valve" (item #9) have the same part number 14731-MBB-000, for both front and rear cylinders. Based on that, anyone should work for you. They are highly polished and look like mirrors. Any that are different in color are probably heat distorted and should not be used.

I know the outsides are silver, (and I sent you a pm psyclown I read your post after I posted this) but with some bikes the factory puts in slightly different buckets (lifters) depending on the head. They are size matched. These slightly different sizes are marked by different colors of paint dots on the inside of the buckets. I know some bikes that have multiple sizes but only one is ever listed in the parts catalogs/fiche. I didn't know if hawks were this way.

IIRC, mine had white dots.
