Yeah, lots of stuff needs to be done. How much money do you have to spend? Thats the bigger ?. If your on a limited budget, do the suspension front and back first, exhaust and motor work next.

Stick longer duration intake cams in it and bump the compression for more midrange .

Then go to work on the ports is my suggestion .
