yeah but I don't exactly recommend tennis shoes or short top shoes. If it weren't for my high steel toed boots I might have had a broken foot when that deer took out my plastic's last x mass since it took my foot off the left pedal in the hit. but as it was the boots supported my ankle and I was fine (other than a little damage and plastics gone on bike). ankle was a little sore next day and that was all.
