Trying to figure this Hawkrider thing out...

Hawkrider = 104,730 posts

Hawkrider = member since Dec 2004

5 years = 104,730 posts

1 year = 20,946 posts

1 day = 57.39 posts

Thats 2.39 posts an hour. What a frick'n stud. Does he have a laptop tied to his waist?

When he kills a superhawk forum member does he just absorb that members posts?

What gives? who has the answer(s)

Somewhat respectfully

LoL..

If you read the entire "Post Whoring Newbie" thread you'd find the answer.. (I think it was in that thread that it happened)

But basically he is moderator and can adjust those numbers to whatever he wants (for anyone, including himself) and when a "contest" for most posts started he just ended it and made himself winner.

Read the entire "Post whoring newbie" thread.

Are you out of your mind?

That would be like reading all the "Harry Potter" and "Lord of the Rings" books in one sitting.

Is there really any whoring going on in that thread? Just curious.

To answer your question "When he kills a superhawk forum member does he just absorb that members posts?" Yes, Greg is like the Highlander (immortal), he absorbs the life experiences and energy from all those he beheads.

To simplify - his post count goes back to the invention of the wheel. He is our esteemed Administrator (which means that he has to read every post everyday to fulfill his contract with the site owners). No BS.

He currently teaches Nuclear Propulsion for the Navy at a lab in Upstate New York. This is a hands-on active reactor that operates 24/7. I've seen pictures of it and it's like the *** end of a submarine half-buried in the dirt. It's connected to a giant water vessel that simulates the ocean's resistance to the propeller. They practice turns, accelerating for the flight deck and other maneuvers. Greg's last duty station was a carrier - Enterprise or the Kennedy - sorry, Greg.

He knows more about a Superhawk than your closest 50 relatives. He has rebuilt the forks on my bird twice. He is a front-end suspension specialist on our bikes and is very generous with his time and efforts for the forum and its members. He is also a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor.

If you remove the 10 from the beginning of his post count that number is his actual. This all got started when the "Post Whoring Newbie" thread got started. I don't think the actual banter about the count occurred inside that thread and doing a search will return enough reading material for decades without actually finding it. I was here and it was some of the most humorous **** I have ever participated in on the Internet.

Randman was the one that jacked the thread about the stuck seat and that thread became the monster that you view today. Several of the regulars here witnessed this endeavor to insanity. If you go back a hundred posts in the thread you will have almost all the names.

Because he has access to the behind the scenes code he can change your screen name and other Godly deeds that are only granted Administrators - including manipulating post count numbers. When it became a race to the biggest number - he settled it.

Sounds like a good story, but seriously..... I think the highlander theory is much closer to reality. Thanks Nuhawk.

This confirms what many of us have suspected all along... It's all Randman's fault!

Whatever happened, I'm glad it did because it's made owning a superhawk a much richer experience.

my guess is that he was on steroids. No wonder they demoted us to the Unofficial Superhawk Forum.

That was all about Honda threatening legal action on the basis of their trademarks. No **** - lil ole us. We are that bigga deal to Honda. They are certainly watching and maybe they are listening. Certainly the the new VFR is a step in the right direction. Maybe the new Superhawk is on the horizon as well. They just don't want us in their backyard.

Hehehe! We can still stay in their face official or not. I am an official buyer - are you listening to me - are you building bikes that I like to ride?

I might be an unofficial member of an unofficial membership but their economic *** depends on keeping me happy.

Yeah, but if a new VTR is anything like the new VFR (600 pounds), count me out.

My God - for real??? 600 my goodness - that's fat. I have not taken the time to look at the specs or look into all the **** they piled into this new package. Certainly the old package was a porker to begin with as well. ****! That's another - what - 60 pounds heavier than the 2007's? That's a disgrace in this day and age.

Don't get me started... Just pushed around a V-tec today. I can really appreciate my Hawk. To think this new bike is heavier than a blackbird does not in any way make the VFR line go in the right direction. I've owned 4 generations of VFR's. This new thing is a good or even great bike for some folks, but not for me. Had a blackbird too, I liked it alot but I don't have it now if that means anything.

What the hell, my thread just got jacked twice and I'm contributing.

Oh yeah, I was told Honda's legal department is larger than it's power equipment.

America and liability...

I have to assume some of the blame for the debacle too. That thread got out of hand fast, and yes the manipulation story is absolutely correct. I still remember the day he did it...
