The UK mags seem to be more in touch with sportbikes......more than Sport Rider 
When I was stationed in Cornwall I used to show up every week at the local BP when they were putting MCN (Motorcycle News) on the shelf.....YES......a weekly paper for motorcycles!
Performance Bike can be found here....$7-$8 a copy, but worth the money.
I do think that even though the tires may carry the same badge or model #.....the compounds differ for UK and US tires.
