hey yall juss want to share some pics of the hawk, got the custom stretch done. for the most part.

 

Personally I am not a fan of the look / effects on handling.

But looks like a well done job.
You probably should brace it though as even at the stock length the swing arm is less than rigid.

 

its all braced and supported internally. i did this for something diffrent, can be back stock in about 2 hours.

 

Are you going to drag race or is it just for looks? Sorry to say it but around here in TN that is not something different, I think more bikes are extended than stock length.

I think it would look a little more interesting with some trellis bracing.

 

im up in indy, i realize its nothin driffrent than any other stretched bike, but it was a project that kept me busy and yes im going to play at the dragstrip. if i dont like it, back to stock it will go.

 

I have some friends in Indy that like to chop bikes up and make crazy stuff. Maybe you can get to gether with them and come up with something truly unique. Let me know if you wanna meet em.

Not that it didnt workout, i rode the entire summer with it, had some time at the strip, just switched it back to stock, because of the wheelies... actually had alot of comments around here about it looking good stretched...wasnt sure if anyone would want it to see how they like it..

 

Did you notice loads of flex in it without any bracing?
