That really sucks, but was at least a little happier to hear you got it back at all. I know how you feel. I bought a '98 brand new in '99, my first and only new vehicle ever, and my pride and joy, and had it for maybe four months before someone ripped it in half out on the highway when they lost control of their car changing lanes (ouch). Anyway at least you've got it back and maybe can make it a little more "yours" and learn a little fixing it up. I remember when one of my old friends was selling his ZX-7 a guy came to his apartment and wanted to test ride it. Well he rode off with it and didn't come back. They found it maybe a week later dropped a few times and busted up. Had blood on the inside of the fairing which made us a little happier-hope it hurt A$$Hole. Well at least you got it back. Best of luck fixing her up.

I'd also keep an eye on EBAY for some selling your type exhaust from your area.... your never know, they might be dumb enough.

BTW.... I've feel your pain, with my old Katana I went through 5 iginition locks and 1 time I had it disappear for weeks before cops got it back (busted up). The only prevention that seemed to work was a hidden kill switch on the battery, this way unless they have a truck, it's not going anywhere.

WOW dude WOW! Man that sucks but at least it's back and not totally f&%ked. A few parts will make it right as rain.
Personally, I won't own a bike if I don't have a garage. I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night even with an alarm.
I've got a pair of stock bafflectomied pipes for free if you pay shipping. They are not perfect, one has a dent on the inside but it's not noticeable when mounted.

Umm, looking at your pictures, you had the TBR high mount mufflers, with aftermarket hangers. I doubt the stock pipes would go on, as they need a different hanger mount. Superbling, do you have the stock passenger pegs/mounts for him? I think he'll need them.
By the way, I live near LaCrosse (Westby) and I have a red 2002 SH. I never really liked the black bikes, but yours looks great with a little red in it. Hope you get it back together soon.
