I have one, seems to work well... easy to wire... wish it wasn't 90 bucks, but otherwise pretty decent product to dial in your speedo.... I don't have the "top speed" version... just to corrective version.

I agree it's nice to know when you blow by a cop in the bushes and you look down and see 75, you know what your chances are....

are these just a plug'n'play option as far as wiring goes? and then program in some adjustment factor?

You unplug one connector at the harness by the battery.... plug there unit between (has the correct clips already), program for you gearing, and off you go.... longest part of the install is figuring out your adjustment factor.... it's like a 20 minute install once you have that figured out.

The pictures on the speedohealer website for the superhawk are from one of the forum members. Install doesn't even take 20 minutes.

Does this work on all models or just the ones with the digital MPH/KMH?

Speedohealer features?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the speadohealer can be configured to calculate the amount of your fine or the amount of time you will be without your license or in jail?

Or does it just calculate speed?

It actually works in reverse of that. The box that contains your new gears contains a certificate for one free pass. After you change the gearing and the Cop asks you if you knew how fast you were going, you show him the free pass certificate and honestly answer, "I just changed the gearing on the bike and I was just testing it out."

You will then be invited to never do your testing on the public roads again. At that point, the hundred bux for the device is an acceptable expense - even to the wife.

It works well, easy to install, accurate, adjustable to accomodate future mods. You'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner.
