Sad News

Well after much consternation I have all but sold the SHawk to a friend of a friend. He can't buy it outright right away so he is gonna pay me a few payments over the next 3 months and when he's paid up I'm gonna sign it over to him. At least between now and then I can ride it once in a while.

Good news is, my wife said I can buy another one once our last two credit cards are paid off...what sucks about that is it will take about another 1-2 years for that to happen.

I hope you get your financial situation resolved and get back in the saddle asap.

My wife and I pay our credit cards (we only have 3, including a gas card) down to zero every month. It's the only way to go.

I totally agree with that philosophy now, however, when I was younger and still in school I didn't know any better. And I am still paying for it literally and figuratively. I haven't actually used a credit card in probably 2 years. Got 3 of them paid off, just working on the last 2.

Good for you. Keep it simple. Too many people live on credit, thinking they never have to pay it back... kind of like our government.
