Remote Start

I tried using the search function before posting this but had no luck. Has anybody installed a remote start kit on any of your motorcycles? If you have which brand and model? Did you like it?

if you are thinking about putting a remote start on the hawk, its a bad idea.
its carb'ed and wont work out when its cold, maybe once bike gets warmed up,you can use it,if it doesnt have too much time to cool down.
anything carb'ed isnt good at all for remote start.F.I. is the best for it.
i have had friends with it,and its a nice feature to have.

Arent you REALLY hoping no one rides off on your running bike? Why risk that. Put you energy towards performance mods.

Or a remote control for you neon lazer strobe lights. or more studded bolts.

Directed electronics sells a remote start that has a choke solenoid... i wouldnt put one on a bike but to each his own... it ties into the brake switches so if you lock the steering it is as safe as it is sitting there its just running... i wouldn't put one on my hawk but thats just preference
