Rear sets - anyone used these?
Before I waste time chasing these, has anyone used these rear sets?

Umm. Now that you mention it...
I looked into the Cycle Pirates adjustable peg solution but wasn't sold on the idea. I was looking for something a bit more affordable that the Gillies, etc. I don't have the spare time to prowl Ebay waiting for a set of real reasets to come up.
Thanks for the info. Guess I'll keep looking.

Those are the very same one's that I have on my bike, minus the black anodizing... (I choose the CBR1000RR one's)...
The bearings they come with are utter crap, not sealed, but once you replace those, the rest of the work is quite nice...

A little confusing here. Which ones work. The ones in the original post? The same company as the original post but the 1000RR rearsets?

My rearsets only cost me 2 bucks and a little time. I got a piece of 1x1/8 stock aluminum from Lowes, cut off a 1 1/2 inch piece, drilled holes in each end, then removed the lower bolt from the stock pegs, swung the entire setup to the rear a little bit, then used the piece of aluminum as a spacer. This effectively moved my footpegs back and up about 1 inch each. Why spend big bucks when a few dollars and a little time is all it takes.

I have the dimensions and a couple of paper templates... Somewhere... I'll go look...

I can't fin any of the Robby Moto one's that are adjustable... Just a fixed set with the pegs raised and moved back... Same for Coerce...
Is that all you guy's want, take a plate like mine and add the OEM rearset from a CBR929RR and you are set... Drill the holes where you like...

Not my idea...I stole it from Nathan here on the forum. MUCH cheaper.
Maybe I should start manufacturing them for 20 bucks a set.
In all honesty, I'd be happy to make a few crude sets and mail them out if anyone wants them. I have some left over aluminum stock and a drill press in the garage.

Nice to see some options... I am going to mock up something in Mastercam that looks like tweety's adapter and sick the Excel on some 1/2" plate. Should have thought of that before I spent 3 hours tig'in the LH peg back on.

yeah. thanks for the acknowledgement and i learned it from another forum, another honda, and it sets your feet essentially even with the top of the swingarm> so about an inch rearward and an 1.5" upward. What's really good is it costs nothing and is easily reversible if you decide you don't like it. A win win IMO. Just be sure you to drill the pieces that move it rearward the same so both sides will be equal. I love em and if you drag these, you will be horizontal shortly thereafter. Adjustables may give you more options, i guess.
