Protocol Violation
Hey all, seems I may have violated a basic forum protocol. Didn’t introduce myself.
I’ll ask you all to over look my grievous transgression, I’ve never used a forum before, never been in a chat room (don’t ever intend to be in one).
Name’s Dave, I hail from Northeastern CT.
I’ve been a member for a few months, made acquaintance with a few of ya’s, picked up a few goodies for my new toy, 99 Hawk, fastest color of course (s’all I’m committing to on that) made some mod’s based on all the good tech info on here.
There’s a bunch of good folks on here, I’ve sorta doped out who the regulars are, like the camaraderie I see, everyone willing to jump in with some helpful tips, some quick to bite, but that’s all part of guiding the new guys, So.., that said, thanks to all who’ve helped me here, hope to be around for a good while and contribute to the good as well.

Erik, for sure, live in Plainfield, work at Millstone. Cornandp, the way I've looked at it is, they're not actually hard and fast rules per-se, more like guidelines.. just noticed a noob here and there get the sage advice to ontro themselves to the group, figured it was the proper thing to do.

thanks! It is nice to have a friend with an identical bike. Makes the work so much easier.. Just go look at the other one to see what it is supposed to be like.
