Nah, he was just trying not to run me over!! :lol: You're actually not allowed to stop and check on anyone so they can get the ambulance out there quicker. I was a little lucky because the camera guy is also an EMT and firefighter and he just happened to be in the same corner. Oh yeah the picture was right before it came smashing down on my ankles

Oh and you can just make me out in the dust behind the bike and that black thing on the track, that's my shield for the helmet. :o

Your visor snapped off!? :shock:

Twice I've wrecked, and both times my visor was the first part of my head to hit, and both times the visor stayed on. :|

Nope didn't snap off just popped off after impact! :o Actually the race plastics held up pretty well no cracks just lots of rash, I think I can repair them. If I bother to that is, you know what they say about race plastic with new paint, just asking for trouble. :D

As I studied the pictures I noticed your rights are different than you lefts. I kept thinking "when he crashes it's going to be in a right" and every picture I looked at after having that thought you do the same things in your rights when you're going right and vice versa - they're just different. I thought at first the guy in the black was coming back as 'bling suggests but then thought no. It really WAS a right. Do you have any motion footage of it or just the stills? So Monday you and the demons have a date? Switch sides on your pucks. And BTW - :birthday: & thanks for the pictures :worthless: The pre-crash pix were great! :thumbsup:

I had to read that 2 or 3 times but yes you are correct, for some reason I and many other right handed people are more comfortable turning left than right. I've been working on it for a while now actually, some say it's because your right arm and leg are stronger and others say it has something to do with your dominate eye being higher turning left.:wtf1: What ever it is it's annoying. Thanks for the B-day wishes and comments on the pre-crash pics. :thumbsup: Oh and no motion, my buddy who's just to the left of the guy on the black bike left his camera in the pits. :rolleyes:

Funny you mention that nuhawk - a friend and I were opposites on our bikes. I was most comfortable turning right, and he was most comfortable turning left. It was noticeable when we were taking turns following each other around the track. However, both my crashes have been on the right side, so since then I've been a bit more timid turning right.

I don't know about having a stronger right arm...you just need to switch hitters every so often, if you know what I mean. ;)

Yeah I know what you mean, nudge, nudge, wink, wink. :lol: Damn Monty Python!! I don't know what causes you to be more comfy on one side compared to the other but it really does get to me. My B-day and track day are on Monday the 22nd, nothing like kicking fate in the down low! :lol:

Maybe that's it. You could be right handed but left eye dominant. When you're turning right you're looking over the bridge of your nose. Your geometry is so different over the bike when compared right to left. I don't exactly know how to explain it verbally but I can see it in your leg and I can see it in your shoulders. Everything lines up when you're turning left. You look porked up or stuffed up or too much on top of the bike - I hope you're not offended because I'm searching for words. We're better friends than that. My concern is that until I/we/you get to the bottom of it you're likely to have continued difficulties. Your lefts are going to continue to be fast and get faster - your rights are more likely therefore to fail. I'm grasping for strings here but maybe time for some tutoring? Private one to one with somebody you respect and is a shitload faster than you! hahahaha :nana: just kidding! Can you see what I mean in the pictures? Look how big you look in the rights - compare that with how sleek you are in the lefts. And I don't care what anybody says, that unsquare puck to the track is just the beginning of the story!

:lol: yeah I don't know why that one came out so blurry. You're completly correct on the body positioning, I don't know why but I don't get as low to the tank and my upper body stays more over the bike. In my left hand turns you can see that my head is right where the mirrors would be but on the right I'm more over the tank. As far as the training goes, that's set for Feb. 9th, I'll be going to the penguin racing school in Homestead. One of my freinds is the # 2 racer in CCS florida region and he's going to be one of the instructors so I'm going to be riding his ass for instruction and constructive crit.

Well, go have fun on Monday. You can rattle the goblins but you need not conquer them. School is good and I'm glad you got that covered. I think the higher up you go in your abilities your coaching has to follow that curve. There are certain things they do with skeet shooters to accomodate eye function and it just takes somebody that knows the sport well enough to help you through it. I can tell you it looks different but I can't tell you what's wrong with it or how to correct it. Anyway, I think the school thing sounds like a blast!

Now I will add something further because your last comment made me remember thinking it while I was looking at the photos. You're not going to nor do you need to STOP doing something. It's that what you're doing is not enough! You're going in the right direction - you're just not going - reaching - stretching into it like you need to and want to - you're just not giving it freely and a blab blab blab :boom:

Nice pics... good luck on Monday. Regarding your right handers, you look fine. I think right handers are harder because 1) you can't use the rear brake to tighten your line and 2) the throttle is on that side which can cause a little hand tension. Things I think about are posture, "kissing the mirror", trying to drop my inside shoulder more which in turn helps looking farther through the corner, and relaxing my grip. Go git 'em.

I love in the first set of pics on the right the guy watching you from the background out in the field (or does it just look that way). The footpeg is PRICELESS LOL!!! By the way they let you ride w/o a bellypan? Thought you needed that to catch fluids...

You don't need a belly pan for just regular track days but you do need it for racing. The prep for a track day is pretty light actually and they let pretty much any bike go out there, one of my freinds rode his BMW adveture tourer and was blowing by some guys on sportbikes. ;) I've seen Busa's, VFR's, ST's, Z1000's, motards just about anything.
