Possible group Track Day @ Barber?
Possible group Track Day @ Barber?
OH, here's the skinny.
You can check out all the specifics re: NESBA at www.nesba.com
They run a good show and I was very pleased with my first track day with them. Their FAQ section answers most all questions.
Some stuff to note:
Unless you are a certified expert capable rider, they'll likley start you in Beginners group for track orientation and rider assessement on you first day at a new track. If you are good enough they will bump you up to Intermediate.
For Beginner and Intro, safety wiring are not mandatory. Suggested yes, mandatory no.
Probably obvious but I'll mention it anyways: You'll need full race gear, including back protector. I watched a guy crash in front of me at 100+ mph. He was back in the pits walking around about 15 mins later.
pricing info is available at the web site. ($175/day)
Here are the dates:
May 20/21 (I'm signed up for May 20 - Intermediate class)
June 24/25
Aug 19/20
Sept 30/Oct 1
Nov 11/12
I'd prefer avoiding June and Aug - TOO DANG HOT !!
So, I'm local and can probably make any of them. If you guys are interested lets get a discussion started and see if there is any hope of getting something planned.

It is a beautiful facility that is very safe to ride hard and fast.
You can camp at the track or stay at a local hotel.
Well, let see where all this takes us.......
