Please help, help, help.......

On my way to work this morning, everything was great. Standing at a red light all of a sudden.......CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK......

What is it? sounds like its coming from the front of the bike, put my finger on that dreadful CCT that everyone talks about and I can feel it vibrate but everything felt that way.

CCT? Valve? Lifter? Cam chain? Bike starts but sounds awful. Turned it off and awaiting your advice..........

Thanks guys......

you might have tapped a valve, or more. either that or your lifters and valves are starting to hate eachother. stock cct's?

Bike has 23k plus change. It actually does sound more like marbles now you say it. Sounds almost like something is loose and flopping or bouncing around. No smoke or rough idle just noise. I pulled it through the intersection, turned it off, gave it 2 min started it up still same thing so shut it down.

Pull the stator cover. Magnets and other bits of epoxy and such have been known to grenade without warning. Makes a terrible racket.
