Red face Paint code

I have a red 98 superhawk, anybody know the paint code? Also some brands don't use a code they use the terms "Italian red" or "winning red", anybody know the answer to that one as well?
Ok, I cant seem to figure out how to delete a post but I found it on another thread. Red 157, thank's for your patience guys, I'll figure this forum out someday.

If it's just touch up here and there I found a realllllly close match with Rustoleum Cardinal Red paint (in an aerosol) from a Hardware Store. If you want the correct Honda stuff...can't help you...

Follow the instructions on http://www.colorrite.com/ to find the color for your bike and it'll also list the base coat to go with your top coat R157 (there should be a label on the subframe underneath the seat with the color code ref no.).

Here in the UK I haven't had a problem going to my local autofactors paint & finish store and getting the right colour simply by saying R157 and Honda.

Are you looking to just touch up a panel or spray the whole thing? as the red is prone to fade in sunlight if left outside, which can make blending in a repair tricky, esp if you have to mask around graphics.

Sorry, R157 is Italian Red. I gave you the website because it's a good resourse that allows you to look up any year and model bike and it'll give you the oem paint code and the name.

You could also type in "winning red" into the search bar and it'll give you the paint code. Click on it and it gives you a complete list of Honda bikes that came with that color...a superhawk not being one of them of course
