I think it begins with R/R and CCT replacement. Then comes the forks and shock. Then carburetors, then exhaust, then tyres, wheels, handlebars, then tweaking, new pistons, valves, a cam, braced swing arm...........it won't stop. It happened with my last bike and I thought I was safe with this choice. Now I discover there is a lot I can do with this bike. My bank account will wither and my wife will never understand. She's already been thu parts in the freezer and the oven. I don't have the heart to tell her this bike will take me down the same road.

This made me laugh so hard! So funny to think about from her perspective.

Little did she know household appliances weren't safe... one day open the freezer to see bearings or a dented exhaust sitting on the frozen peas...

Regarding the image... My S.O. knows the answer to that question, and since she's a smart one, she will never ask...

Giving me an ultimatum has never ever worked out well... I don't mind driving a stationwagon to fit a babystroller, I mostly find 2 seater sportscars unpractical anyways... But try and take away my bike, and you have a fight on your hands...

It was part of the deal, man comes with bike. I don't need a flash car or expensive suites, kids are OK, even going to family events. I do want good tools and at least one motorcycle.

BTW, if it was shoes or dresses, I'd be a happy man (and much richer!), at least my bike doesn't eat a couple of hundred pounds of hay and feed standing in the garage, but a horse eats, and ***** regardless if you ride it or not... And do you have any remote idea how expensive things related to horses are? At least she cannot go on a shopping spree and buy "aftermarket parts" for the horse... But the downside of that is obvious... She keeps buying more damned horses instead... Than god we only have 6 boxes, or I'd be homeless, living in the stable...

I do know how expensive horses and everything included get! This can become a financial nightmare if not controlled... Lucky I don't have to deal with this one, I guess I much rather deal with the shoes and dresses

As for that, package deal is the right way to put it, the way I gave it to my wife, take it or leave it and not just one bike, a family of four for that matter

hahahaha...that made me laugh out loud!

My G/F loves bikes, garages, tools, and activity participates in talk about the superhawk. She's pretty amazing! She's more of a dirt bike rider, but loves street bikes as well.

Oh, she's a damn good cook too. The last time I was "under the tank" on the bike, she brought out some lemon bars on a plate. It's hard to get work done with powdered sugar lemon bars staring at you.
