Re: o ring or no o ring ?
You definately want to get an O'Ring type chain for your bike .
Question might be do you want to go ahead and buy the new " X " Ring chain . They are my personal favorite . The 530ZVM that is . http://www.didchain.com/question.html chains http://www.didchain.com/street.html Since you know the amount of links needed and if you don't plan to play with the sprocket sizes I'd recommend buying a one piece chain . That way you don't have to buy or borrow a rivet stake tool . Hope this helps |
Re: o ring or no o ring ?
the zvm is pretty crazy, seeing how i cant get it in 102, and its $$ , ill get tht above posted link from me, the 530v. its 102 link, so i dont need a master link (right?) , and its an oring. good enough for me! :D

Re: o ring or no o ring ?
ok , go to this link and read the tensile strength:
http://www.bikebandit.com/PartsBandi..._id~912122.asp and then go to the ZVM link of this one and read it : http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandi..._id~912135.asp the 2nd one says its for our bike... will the other one snap like a twig when under heavy load? |
