New guy on the block

I wanted to introduce myself, I'm a teacher who happens to make cam chain tensioners. I had a member contact me to ask if I'd be interested in doing cam chain tensioners for Superhawks. I was and he helped me get the information to do so. I figured it would make sense for me to join here since some members might want to know who is doing the part or have questions. I figure I'll put in some comments on other areas having been in Honda sales for about 22 years from 1983 to 1990 full time and from 1990 to 2006 part time and having a mechanical engineering tech background.

I am actually a teacher by day and do the tensioners as a sideline that I fell in when no one made or would bother to cross reference their tensioners to either of my Kawasakis. I picked up where they wouldn't go and have been doing the tensioners for 2 years and have about 200 of them around the world. That last part is the fun part.

I have ridden over 40 years and absolutely enjoy sport riding and supermoto type riding (without the backing it in) on the winding back roads of eastern Ohio. There are some roads that are close rivals to the fabled Deal's Gap. A lot of fun. Doing 150 miles of supermoto and dual sport play on back roads without getting more than 30 miles from home.

I hope everyone is fine with my being here off and on.
