Hey,
I am new to the group. I like what I see so far, alot of like minded people who like one of the most overlooked sportbikes. I own a pearl Yellow 2000 VTR1000F. I bought it new and have done a few changes to make it a little more unique. I've polished the frame and swingarm, chromed the rims and added some carbon fiber bits. I installed twin polished stainless D&D pipes, Stage 1 Jet kit, Kevlar Goodrich clutch and brake lines(Big improvement), K&N Filter set-up, Iridium flush mount front and rear turn signals, and a blue EK supersport chain. I do have one question though. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE TO WAIT FOR WEEKS TO GET ACCESSORIES FOR THEIR HAWKS?! I have came to the conclusion that if I get it a month after I order it, it's early. I guess that's the price we pay for being different.
