new to the boards!

just wanted to introduce myself. names dave. i just bought a left over 2003 super hawk about two months ago. awesome bike!! i put on jardine high mounts, and a shift light so far. ran an 11.2@121mph and put down 105whp/66wtq on the local dyno. this is my second hawk as i still own a 1989 650gt hawk. both are awesome bikes. thats all, c-ya around the boards. here are a few pics for you guys

welcome.... nice hawk. always did like the blue. you need to find yourself a seat cowl on ebay though!

welcome to the boards! I too am a new member. I bought a left over 2002 model this spring. I also like the blue color but the red is nice as well.

the dyno was after the pipes. i might go get it filtered/jetted/full headers. local bike tuning guy said he can get another 7-10 horse out of it.

i ride with my g/f to much to bother with one. they do look nice though, but i hear they are a pain to get on/off??

yeah... i always tell my girlfriend i'll give her a ride on the hwak some other time just so i don't have to take the damn thing off.
