this dealer has a brand new 2001 rc51!!!!!!! wow!!! time to move out the old inventory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i thought the local dealers here were bad!

someone is not doing their job. The dealer has probably paid the equivalent of the cost of the bike in interest over the years just keeping the thing in stock...

 

Worse yet, it will take a thousand bux to ship it anywhere. Is this another reason that Caligonia needs to gall off the map?

 

my old buddy, chris, bought a new 2000 rc51 left over in nova scotia in 2001. he paid $10k! this bunch wants $12k!!! another 25 years and it might become a classic and with 0miles it might be worth that!!! imagine getting a norton commando brand new from the dealer with 0miles!

wow... the flooring cost's they've paid on that must be insane!
unless of course they bought it from Honda early on... which is more likely.

 

No way the dealer had it since new. May be one of the "found" warehouse bikes or a bike that was repo'd from a dealer and in legal limbo until court proceedings were finished.
Figure for new tires, battery (if filled), coolant and hoses, brake fluid, oil, all at least 8 years old.
Check VIN with Honda, new or not so new.
I worked at a dealer for 4 years. 3 years old is beyond a panic, unheard of for this model bike without a story.
