nice man good score. im torn between an rc for my next bike or an i4 1000 not sure yet. i love the power of the i4 but i love the torque of the twin, but i also love the way the i4 sounds when shes opened up, lol.

Beautiful bike. I ride my friends RC as much as he lets me. It is bad ass! I could never own one as my only bike though. Way too uncomfortable.
|
Thanks...Just had it delivered this morning...there was a bunch of 'Go fast, High Horse Power stickers' on it. I removed it immediately. Brought it from the original owner but it has not been well taken care off. I going to give it once over tonight. Figuring another winter project of refinishing....All good though.

What year, 2001 ? She is a looker, and if she is anything like the sisters i own and know she is a shaker.... good to go...
|
Besides my wife has to keep rolling my RC51 back to the garage from the bedroom too......Ha Ha Somethings are just better.....

Kick-ass, congrats! :wheelie:

You always had good taste in motorcycles. Lou! This one is no different. Careful on cold tires. You should send it to Texas for a winter vacation.

So have you ridden it yet? We need a back to back comparo. I feel like it is that bike you lust after but that it just wouldnt be that satisfying since you ride the VTR. I wanna know if I am wrong. Of course I think most vtr riders think of this as your wife's stripper sister, but could you live with it? is the ride better? Inquiring minds want to know

Very nice. You'll love the chassis, once you get it set up.
It is a very friendly, confidence-inspiring track bike and canyon carver. |

Finally got her cleaned up, new fluids, new seals and new shoes. Took her out this morning..15C. My initial reaction is Wow!!!. Totally different machine. The only way to describe it is Hawk X2. It feels lighter, way more planted and smoother. Shifting is less clunky. It has a different sound. Not sure if this is a daily machine as I have not been stuck in traffic on a hot day. But the riding position is more aggressive. But that's the price you pay for playing with the "wife's stripper sister". |
Welcome to the club! That is a very accurate description.
