for the guys who have fairings and run bar ends, or just for guys who track, how are you attaching your fairings to the bike where the mirrors go? i wanna ditch mine and ive got a track day i want to go to soon so they need to go. pics of what youve made or even ones from another bike that fit would be great

 

Cable ties are enough for a track day.

 

yeah but i want something i can use on the street aswell. and as sexy as cable ties are they just dont cut it

 

playing the search game on here, but ill post anyway, are there any other mirrors that fit our bikes that i could get the plates from? ebay seems cheap and if not ill make my own

 

I use some old bolts in the garage that fit the holes.

 

i think ill end up going that route aswell. maybe something with a pretty flower on it, lol

 

check eBay, there is chap in your area (Newmarket I beleive) who sells some fairly cheap. It`s what I am using and it looks tidy and clean.

 

i looked and didnt find anything for our bikes, do you remember what you put into the search on ebay?

 

not sure, but he makes mirror extenders too, and a whole series of other such items so he isn`t too hard to find....

 

cool man ill take a look again. the only ones i found were this flat basic disc that looks a little shitty and id rather use bolts over it

 

i think this is the guy youre talking about, from ontario makes extenders and block off plates, and these are the plates.
