Microns are on
I just finished installing my Micron (race) low-mounts this evening. I took the bike out for a short 30 km ride and the results are very nice. The sound is nice and crisp, the bike definitely felt snappier at all speeds and there was an absence of any lean spots or surging (no popping on decel or stalling at lights also). The engine aslo seemed to run smoother (as in less vibration). So far all is well. Not a big deal but I had to share it with someone
I am now looking forward to completing my project of adding the long intake trumpet on the front cylinder and getting it jetted (likely get it done at dealer's and have him tune it on the dyno at the same time).
cheers
Micky

Re: Microns are on
Great to hear you could put a race can on & still not have to re-jet. I want to replace the exhaust on mine, but not really interested in jetting if i don't have to.

Re: Microns are on
I must confess that I have not heard the entire assortment of available pipes for the VTR and so cannot draw any objective comparisons between the Microns and the others. That being said, I do find that they have a nice deep and crisp sound without being obnoxiously loud.
